Years are just labels applied by people that divide us, says young student Tudorița from Moldova who joined our intergenerational initiative

19-year-old Tudorița Burduniuc is passionate about medicine and human connections. As a student at the Medical College in Bălți, Moldova, Tudorița goes beyond her medical books and stethoscope, dedicating time for the common good. Together with 80 fellow youths, Tudorița participated in an initiative by Caritas Czech Republic that engaged young individuals in the community and built bridges between generations. She shared with us her motivation for joining this initiative and the experience she gained from interacting with her peers.

Every young person matters and has the right to participate in community actions. In an effort to strengthen the involvement of young people in the society, Caritas Czech Republic has launched a new initiative aimed at creating 8 youth groups that will foster collaboration and dialogue between young people, elderly people, the community and local public administration.

Occupational therapy in Moldova: a new care service helping people regain their independence

Occupational therapy is an innovative form of therapy that helps people regain or maintain their independence and ability to carry out everyday activities. To help people with various needs and conditions to develop their skills and improve their quality of life, Caritas Czech Republic, together with Homecare Association, will develop occupational therapy services in 5 medical-social centres in Moldova.
